Firefox 13 is available for download and update. In this version Mozilla introduced a new features for the default home page and for new tabs. The default  home page contains a handy Google search and quick links to downloads, bookmarks, history, add-ons, sync and settings. Also, if you had tabs open the last time you used Firefox you can restore them from the home page with a single click. Instead when you create a new tab, Firefox shows your top sites. Firefox for 64-Bit Processor-Run even Faster

Meanwhile Mozilla is working on Firefox9, Waterfox compiled the Firefox source code to run specifically for 64-Bit Windows computers. To make Waterfox stand out a bit more, it’s compiled with optimizations so that it will run more efficiently and faster than just compiling Firefox as a 64-Bit program. In benchmarks, the 64-Bit variant of Firefox out-performs the 32-Bit variant. Also because this variant is being built specifically for Windows, there might be further performance increases.

Firefox 9 Beta 3 is now Available for Update

Mozilla released another update to it’s Firefox 9, now in Beta 3.

What’s new in this version of Firefox BETA:

  • Type Inference: Firefox Beta adds Type Inference to make JavaScript significantly faster. To learn more about how rich websites and Web apps with lots of pictures, videos and 3D graphics will load faster in Firefox, check out this blog post.
  • Mac OS X Lion Support: Firefox Beta has a new look that matches the Mac OS X Lion application toolbar and icon styles. Firefox Beta also supports the two finger swipe navigation gesture and makes it easier to use multiple monitors.
  • Do Not Track JavaScript Detection: Firefox Beta enables JavaScript to show developers when users choose to opt-out of behavioral tracking with the Do Not Track privacy feature.
  • Chunked XHR Support: Firefox Beta supports chunking for XHR requests so websites can receive data that’s part of a large XHR download in progress. This helps developers make websites and Web apps faster, especially those that download large sets of data or via AJAX.

How to set up Firefox Sync step by step

As Mozilla updated Firefox 4 Beta with Sync, here is step by step guide how to configure your account and stay synchronized with the same data on different device.

First Step: Create a Firefox Sync Account

We can access Sync by clicking the Sync logo the bottom right corner on Firefox or press Alt from your keyboard if your menu is hidden and then select Tool->Set Up Sync.

Firefox 4 Beta with Panorama and Sync

Today Mozilla updates Firefox 4 to Beta 4 version bringing two interesting features: Panorama and Sync.

With Panorama you can easily drag and drop your tabs into manageable groups that you can organize, name and arrange in a fun and visual way. So you can keep track of all your open tabs. This is a new conpet to browsers and Mozilla is the first to implement it. By clicking on the top right button you will be able to acess Panorma area and in an easy way create tab-groups, resize groups, moving tabs from one group to other etc.

With Firefox Sync you can swich to one computer to other, from Firefox mobile to computer and hold the same data on the browser. Sync gives you seamless access to your important Firefox data – including bookmarks, passwords, history and open tabs – across multiple computers and devices.
