The default Ambiance Ubuntu Theme is really nice, but in case you’re not satisfied there are thousand themes to try. Installing a Ubuntu theme is very easy but first there are some simply steps to follow.
There are two ways to install themes in Ubuntu Linux. Downloading manually and add it via a PPA (Personal Package Archives).
Gentoo Linux announced the availability of a new LiveDVD, x86/x86_64 version, and an x86_64 multi lib version. Iron Penguin edition include Linux Kernel 3.15.6, Gnome 3.12.2, Chromium 37, Firefox 31, LibreOffice 4.2.5, Xorg 1.16.0, KDE 4.13.3, XFCE 4.10, Fluxbox 1.3.5, LXQT Desktop 0.7.0, i3 Desktop 2.8, Gimp 2.8.10-r1, Blender 2.71-r1, Amarok 2.8.0 and much more updates.
The first beta is ready for download and testing, including Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu Kylin and Ubuntu GNOME. There are several updates for every distribution. Weather and Maps apps installed by default on Ubuntu Gnome and KDE is testing Plasma 5 desktop.
The next release is due on September and the release candidate should come on October 16! The final Ubuntu version is coming on October 23, 2014
Linux Lite is free OS for everyone to use and share, and is suitable for people who are new to Linux or for people who want a lightweight environment that is also fully functional. Linux Lite is also great for reviving that old laptop or desktop you gave up on a few years back.
Google just released the Android 4.4.3 factory images. For Google brands smartphone now is possible to upgrade manually or flash it. The supported device are Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi, Nexus 10, Nexus 4, and Nexus 7 (2012) WiFi and Mobile.
